after_dawn
West Coast IPA / 7.5% ABV
w/Waimea, Strata, Strata CGX＆Talus
夜が明けた。カーテンの隙間から射しこむ用宗の光は平和の合図。眠い目をこすりながら身支度を始めるHop Dudeたち。朝のテレビでは、昨今の迫り来るNemesis率いるダークサイド情勢が深刻に報道されていた。いつものようで、いつもとは違う一日の始まりを迎える。
『after_dawn』のWest Coast IPAは、ラガー酵母を取り入れ、さらにテルペンも投入のカスタムアレンジ。これはきっと、僕らが知っている日常から少し離れた証のビールなのかもしれない。
パッションフルーツやパイナップルのようなトロピカルフルーツのアロマに、グレープフルーツなど柑橘系の香りが絡み合う。青々しい刈りたての草や松に樹脂、ミントを彷彿とさせるニュアンスも。ミディアムボディな口当たりに程よい炭酸で飲み口がススむ！
小さく変わり続ける日常は、気づけば大きな変化になっている。でも、その幸せな日々をどう過ごすかは自分次第。平穏から浸食していくダークサイドの企みを阻む術は果たして何が残っているのだろうか。
🔖TERPENEとは
幅広い植物の精油に含まれる天然の芳香成分。今回のバッチでも、フルーティーなアロマが爽やかに香るテルペン「Pineapple Express」を使用(リキッド製品)。
There’s always room for one more insanely dank IPA. Before Dawn was great, after_dawn is even DANKER. Strata and Waimea with additions of Pineapple Express terpenes = a decidedly enhanced West Coast IPA experience. Should also mention we fermented this one with lager yeast to make it drier, crispier, and even better with additional time in the can. Don’t get up too early (or stay up too late?) to drink this one, but if you are a fan of the clear goodies def find a spot for it in your drinking lineup ASAP.
